Create from Felt the Provincial Flower of Alberta: Wild Rose

The prickly rose was designated as the provincial emblem of Alberta in 1930. Known for it's amazing smell and bright pink petals, this hardy bush thrives on the prairies. Based on it's resilience and beauty, indigenous communities used it as a symbol of love in their art. Supplies: wire  pink, green and yellow felt  glue gun glue Tools scissors pinking shears (optional) wire cutter pilers  glue gun 1) Cut out the pieces of felt out. Cut the wire: one 15 cm piece and two 10 cm pieces.   2) take the green felt leaf circles and trim the edge with pinking shears. Cut the pieces in half. 3) take one of the 10cm pieces of wire and place it near the straight edge of the middle cut. Apply glue gun glue to the opposite side near the straight edge. Sandwich the wire between the two felt pieces by placing the glued edge so the pieces overlap in the center. 3) Take a strip of cut cut felt, apply a small amount of glue to one end and secure it to the base of the leaf.
